As a Senior Database Developer you will:

• Design, develop, and optimize relational databases and data stores, ensuring efficient integration with software components and systems;
• Implement database solutions that align with user experience guidelines for data-driven applications;
• Identify and mitigate known security vulnerabilities in database systems, applying security by design principles;
• Produce and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for database structures and processes;
• Provide advanced technical support for database components and resolve complex data-related issues;
• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues prior to and following testing phases.

Qualifications

What would make you a fit for the role:

• Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 6+ years of relevant experience;
• Adherence to database development standards and best practices;
• Solid understanding of database and application security;
• Proficiency in RDBMS and writing complex queries using native SQL;
• Experience with database scripting and automation (e.g., PL/SQL, T-SQL, or similar);
• Familiarity with APIs and data integration technologies;
• Ability to interpret and work with analysis and architectural documents (HLD, LLD, BPMN, UML, etc.);
• Expertise in CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices for database development and deployment.

Technical certifications (one of the following):

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate, Oracle Certified Professional, or similar;
• Microsoft Certified DevOps Engineer Expert;
• ServiceNow® Certified Application Developer or Specialist (if applicable);
• Any other technology certifications relevant to database development.
