We have an exciting opportunity for an Applications Support Developer to join the University’s Digital, Data and Technology department.
You will be focussed on the support and maintenance of the corporate systems used by our HR/Payroll and Finance department (MHR iTrent and Unit4 Business World), in order to meet the increasing and changing needs of the business and their customers.
You will work with stakeholders to resolve day to day issues, becoming an applications expert in both systems. You will also be involved in project work to implements small enhancements to meet business needs, and will have the opportunity to learn about database developments, and integrations between systems.
- Second and third tier support of large business information systems in a customer service environment.
- Strong communication skills
- Effectively work within a team
- Ability to work in a self-reliant manner, managing priorities effectively in a changing technical and business environment
- Experience of working with third party API integrations and dealing with external suppliers.
- Experience of IT in a Higher Education environment.
- HR Payroll or Accounting/finance knowledge.
- Database development experience.
