Bread for the World

The Protestant Agency for Diakonie and Development/ Brot für die Welt (Bread for the World)
is a Berlin based organization for international development cooperation of the Protestant
churches in Germany. The Organisation provides help for self-help for the work of secular and
church-related partner organisations worldwide. Altogether, more than 1.300 projects are
currently supported in Africa, Asia, Latin America and Eastern Europe. The work focuses
amongst others on food security, environment protections and climate change, the promotion
of education and health, the strengthening of civil society, respect for tolerance and peaceful
conflict resolution, equality between men and women.

We are looking for consultants offering consultancy and support services for Outcome-and-
impact-oriented Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation (PME) based in Nepal. The purpose of
this contract is to strengthen the capacity of partner organizations and to meet the Client’s
funding requirements (through consultancy face-to-face and online, training, workshops,
coaching, and other forms of capacity building) for approximately 15 non-governmental and –
faith-based partner organisations in Nepal. The services must reflect the specific requests and
needs of the partner organisations. Fundamental prerequisite is a culturally adequate and
gender-sensitive approach. The contractor’s services provided to the partner organisations are
to be in Nepali or English. Communication with the Client is in English.

Brot für die Welt will provide respective trainings for the consultants regarding their specific
standards and requirements.
