Digital Marketing Student Assistant

Franklin University is currently seeking a student fill the position of Digital Marketing Student Assistant. The Digital Marketing Student Assistant will assist the Digital Marketing team with a variety of tasks and projects that include, but are not limited to: creating digital ads, conducting competitor research, managing website content for new section redesigns, paid media reporting and developing HTML emails and landing pages. This position will also be directly involved in executing changes to the University website submitted through Franklin’s Content Management System. All development work will rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. The position works under immediate supervision and can be trained in some areas as necessary.

Candidates must be current Franklin University students with Federal Work Study eligibility. Candidates must possess a working knowledge of search engine optimization tactics as they pertain to web development; intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products; excellent verbal and written communication skills; and a willingness to learn and reach beyond their comfort zone. Preferred skills and characteristics include intermediate knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop; working knowledge of Google Analytics, or other web development software; and experience working in Drupal, WordPress, or other content management systems with a general knowledge of HTML.

Candidates should be available to work up to 19 hours per will, Monday-Friday between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm.
