Adicionalmente, cuenta el equipo de Gestión de Conocimiento, encaminados a fortalecer la capacidad de los gobiernos y las comunidades, fomentar el desarrollo sostenible, y brindar apoyo para el cumplimiento de los Objetivos de Desarrollo del Milenio.

Context

This assignment is carried out in the framework of the Course for Assessors and Evaluators of the Gender Equality Seal for Financial Institutions, led by UNDP in partnership with CAF – Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean. The course is designed to strengthen the technical capacities of professionals across the region, providing them with the tools to assess and evaluate financial institutions on their gender equality performance.

To ensure the course is engaging, accessible, and visually consistent, we require the support of Online Volunteers with graphic design skills who can adapt and edit the training presentations following our established visual identity. By contributing to this assignment, Online Volunteers will play a key role in enhancing the quality and professional delivery of a regional flagship initiative on gender equality and inclusive finance.

Key Responsibilities

We are looking for 2 Online Volunteer/s who under the guidance of the Gender Team and in close collaboration with the communications team, will support us by designing and editing 10 PowerPoint presentations for the course, ensuring that all materials follow a consistent visual identity in line with our graphic guidelines.

In particular, each Online Volunteer is asked to:

– Collect and review all existing course materials and efficiently adapt them to the established graphic guidelines;

– Ensure a coherent and professional layout across all presentations, maintaining consistency in fonts, colours, and style;

– Use innovative design elements such as graphics, charts, icons, and images to present information in a clear and visually engaging manner;

– Incorporate feedback from the Gender Team and communications colleagues in a timely and efficient way;

– Prepare final versions of the PowerPoint presentations ready for delivery and use in the course.

The Online Volunteer/s will have the opportunity to build connections with the Gender Team at the Regional Centre and learn about the ways in which graphic design can support Gender Equality mainstreaming.

Required Skills and Experience

– Professional experience in graphic design, with a portfolio demonstrating previous work on presentation materials or document layouts.

– Proven ability to adapt content to established branding/visual identity guidelines.

– Advanced knowledge of graphic design applications (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and presentation tools (PowerPoint, Canva, or similar).

– Creativity and ability to use visual elements (charts, infographics, icons, images) to convey information clearly and attractively.

– Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.

– Good verbal and written communication skills in English (Spanish is an asset).

– A degree in graphic design, communications, or a related field is considered an advantage.

– Prior experience designing for training courses, educational materials, or international organizations is an asset.
