HR Assistant Bangladesh Cox’s Bazar (Bangladeshi National Only)

Our Ideal Candidate:

The purpose of the HR Assistant is to comply with NRC’s HR policies and procedures, assist with the implementation of HR policies and procedures at office level and provide supports in national and Incentive workers recruitment processes, managing staff files, contracts, appraisal, and other administrative work. This position is also responsible to monthly records and reports such as staff lists, leave and other HR statistics.

Key Task and Responsibilities:

  • Manage Incentive worker/Volunteer recruitment and Support in national staff recruitment.
  • Ensure all Recruitment documents are filed and documented for the future records.
  • Ensure new staff that they are properly inducted in the first week of their employment and sign the required on-boarding documents.
  • Ensure new incentive workers that they are properly inducted on the first day of their work and sign the required on-boarding documents.
  • Ensure Incentive worker IDs on the first day of their work.
  • Ensure the Incentive worker database is up to date and track the expiration date of ToR.
  • Be available to staff to answer HR questions as needed.
  • Organize as requested workshops, training schedules, and events hosted by NRC Bangladesh.
  • Regular visit of field office and camps 
  • Other HR and admin duties as assign by line manager

Key Education and Skills Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, relevant field.
  • 02 years plus relevant working experience as a HR with an International INGO is preferred. 
  • Fluent in English and Bangla
  • Oral proficiency in the Chittagonian dialect
  • Knowledge of governance and administrative structures in Bangladesh
  • Knowledge of Bangladesh labor legislation and policies related to INGO work in the country will add advantages.
  • Experience in managing Incentive worker/volunteer recruitment.
  • Documented results related to the position’s responsibilities.
  • Previous experience of working in complex and volatile contexts.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office management.

Duty Station: Cox’s Bazar (Travel 40%)
