We are currently seeking to fill an intern position in our HR Unit based in Tunis.
The United Nations World Food Programme is the world’s largest humanitarian agency fighting hunger worldwide. The mission of WFP is to help the world achieve Zero Hunger in our lifetimes. Every day, WFP works worldwide to ensure that no child goes to bed hungry and that the poorest and most vulnerable, particularly women and children, can access the nutritious food they need.
STANDARD MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Currently enrolled with at least two years undergraduate studies completed, or recently graduated preferably in Human Resources or related field (within the past six months);
University course attendance in the past 12 months;
Excellent command of English; working knowledge of a second UN language would be an asset (preferably French, Spanish or Arabic);
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook).
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES (not all-inclusive)
Under the direct supervision of the HR Officer, the candidate will perform the following duties:
Assist with a broad range of HR reporting related to information and data management, (Share-point, cloud, one drive)
Be part of the HR team that works closely with global WFP offices to support the effective implementation of relevant initiatives in the field.
Drafting of reports including Recruitment reports and databases.
Provide support to other key HR initiatives
