Hydrogen Europe is the European association representing the interest of the hydrogen and fuel cell industry and its stakeholders and promoting hydrogen as an enabler of a zero-emission society. With more than 300 companies and 27 national associations as members, our association encompasses the entire value chain of the European Hydrogen and fuel cell ecosystem collaborating with the European Commission in the Fuel Cell Hydrogen Joint Undertaking.

Main responsibilities:

  • Deliver various virtual and physical events and meetings from A to Z,
  • Set-up and coordinate virtual event platforms, web conferences and live streams,
  • Manage day to day communication with external stakeholders,
  • Maintain annual event and meeting calendar,
  • Build and manage low-complexity event budgets and financial reconciliations,
  • Draft communication linked to the event (i.e.: speaker briefing, script development, email blasts, website content, etc.) in coordination with the communications team
  • Co-create event websites according to the given instructions (i.e.: content, speaker, registration) in coordination with the communications team,
  • Ad hoc support of the Operations Team.

Required:

  • University or advanced degree (preferred) in Event Management, Tourism, Business Administration, Communication, Marketing or related,
  • 2-3 years minimum work experience in events,
  • Fluency in English. Knowledge of other European languages an asset,
  • Ability to learn fast and deliver quality results while respecting deadlines, even when working under pressure,
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills,
  • Strong organisational skills and good eye for detail,
  • High level of curiosity and willingness to learn about the hydrogen sector,
  • Flexible, reliable, good team player with positive can-do attitude.

Skills:

  • Solid organisational and time management skills; ability to manage multiple issues and tight deadlines,
  • Capable of working independently and as part of a team,
  • Knowledge and capability with Microsoft Office,
  • Knowledge of any web conference platform and/or email marketing tools is desirable.
