OVERVIEW:
Learning & Organizational Development is a fast paced and dynamic environment with a focus on collaboration and teamwork. This role will require knowledge of adult learning, instructional design, and utilization of technology to create and facilitate virtual training to our stakeholders. Training will focus on business processes including systems and applications. Creating and maintaining documentation will also be a critical component to this role.

This is a remote position that may require occasional travel to our corporate office in Edmonton.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Work closely with leadership in your assigned portfolio to identify training requirements based on department and company goals and target dates

Build and maintain strong relationships with your team and our stakeholders via virtual technologies

Curriculum development for a fast-paced, dynamic division

Provide engaging virtual facilitation experiences to meet diverse learning styles and requirements

Update and maintaining all training and references materials

Evaluate the impact of training programs to ensure objectives are being met

WHAT YOU WILL HAVE:
Relevant post-secondary training or equivalent work experience

Ability to learn business applications from both operational and technical perspectives

3+ years of training experience including development and facilitation

Knowledge of instructional design and adult education principles

Ability to work well independently as part of a virtual team

Strong research and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task

Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
