Job Summary:

DNO field-based operations are in various Kurdistan locations (Tawke, Peshkabir and Baeshiqa).  The Materials & Logistics coordinator role reports to the Drilling supply chain manager but is embedded within drilling & well services operations organization.

The role will be focused on arranging and controlling the operational logistics requirements including trucking, diesel trucks, vac trucks, cranes etc. This includes raising Call Offs from service requisitions issued by the delivery function and working closely with the Warehouse team to ensure on-time delivery / availability of materials to site.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day management of the drilling & well services logistics
  • Raising appropriate Call Offs from Service Requisitions under awarded Framework Agreements.
  • Leads & coordinates daily logistics and materials delivery requirements, including weekend logistics plans to ensure continuous supplies;
  • Review and contribute to the drilling operational forecast to ensure material & equipment is called-out in time;
  • Safeguarding a high level of compliance with DNO anti-bribery, anti-corruption and money laundering policies
  • Development of local contractors to work within DNO policies and procedures.
  • Build strong relations with internal and external stakeholders, contractors and suppliers;


Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum 5+ years relevant oil & gas materials & logistics experience, with at least 3+ years working experience in materials & logistics with IOC(s) or other related organisations
  • Experience in drilling and well services materials & logistics.
  • Degree preferably technical or business related.
