Praktikant*in CONNECT (m/f/x)

The BMW Foundation Herbert Quandt promotes responsible leadership and inspires leaders worldwide to work towards a peaceful, just, and sustainable future. Through our activities, we aim to advance the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations 2030 Agenda.

 

We are looking for somebody to assist with our Connect formats and networking activities starting June 2022.

 

Your tasks – What we are looking for

  • You will have the opportunity to contribute to our work with the Responsible Leaders Network: you will assist us with our networking activities, partnerships, and leadership formats.
  • You will assist in analyzing our network in order to create and curate qualified circles of participants and experts.
  • You will communicate with partners and participants of our leadership and networking formats.
  • You will autonomously take care of the invitation and participant management for our events.
  • You will prepare presentations and event materials and assist in the creation of event apps and/or platforms.
  • You will assist our team with researching topics and with its thematic and conceptual work.

                                                                                                                      

Your profile – What you contribute

  • You are a student in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program (all disciplines and fields of study are welcome).
  • You are strongly interested in leadership topics, building professional networks and communities, the Sustainable Development Goals of the UN 2030 Agenda, and in one or more regions where we work with our Responsible Leaders Network.
  • You have strong social skills when it comes to dealing with our partners and guests.
  • You have good general knowledge of international social, political, and economic topics.
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in both German and English; additional languages are a plus.
  • You are well-versed in MS Office applications and have first experiences with databases, web-based project management and web-based communication software.
  • You work independently but you also like to work in a team; you are open-minded and creative.
