Program Coordinator, Education, Leadership and Exchange

Eurasia Foundation (EF), a US-based international development organization promoting good governance and vibrant civil society, is accepting applications for a Program Coordinator (PC). Under the supervision of the Director of Education Leadership and Exchange, the PC will support the implementation of an exchange program bringing participants from a country in the Eurasian region to the United States for a period of several weeks. As part of his/her responsibilities, PC will coordinate the implementation of assigned program components, assist with selecting participants, arrange domestic and international travel, organize in-country activities, and contribute to the implementation of a variety of other project activities. PC will also draft various technical documents, including semi-annual and final reports, work plans, and press releases, and perform other duties as assigned.


• Work closely with the Director of the department to ensure that program activities are implemented on schedule and in line with Eurasia Foundation’s rules and regulations.
• Organize outreach and selection of the program participants.
• Organize domestic and international travel, lodging, disbursement of stipends, and local logistical arrangements.
• Organize visa arrangements.
• Liaise with host organizations.
• Organize program orientations and workshops.
• Drafts a variety of technical documents, including semi-annual reports and program materials.
• Assist with program data collection, cleansing, and entry.
• Contributes to the proposal development initiatives under ELE department.


• Bachelor’s degree in international relations or related field required; Master’s preferred.
• Speaking, reading, and writing in Russian are desired.
• Experience working on projects funded by The Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA)
of the U.S. Department of State is highly desired.
• At least two years of work experience in a relevant field (student or professional exchanges,
fellowships) is required.
• Strong research, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills in English are required.
• Advanced MS Office experience required.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and successfully meet deadlines while quickly producing high-
quality work is essential.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
