Summary of Job Duties:

The position will coordinate the University’s research compliance activities. These activities will include the logistics of the Research Compliance Committee and Institutional Review Board. This position will also communicate with PIs and route documents for review. This position will also update the Office of Research Compliance’s website. This position is governed by state and federal laws, and agency/institution policy.

Qualifications:

Required Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Administer all types of documents and forms related to campus compliance and IRB activities;

  • Schedule and attend Research Compliance Committee and IRB meetings;

  • Take notes, and prepare and distribute minutes for Research Compliance Committee and IRB meetings;

  • Coordinate locations, catering, and printing for meetings;

  • Approve Internal Service Deliveries for catering and printing;

  • Update the Office of Research Compliance website;

  • Research best practices for Research Compliance and update office policies;

  • Support researchers;

  • Assist Director of the Office of Research Compliance with Export Control correspondence and meeting logistics;

  • Other duties as assigned.

  • MS Office proficiency;

  • Ability to work independently;

  • Problem-solving;

  • Written and verbal communication;

  • Attention to detail.

Salary Information:

$40,000
