Introduction

SCOPE OF TENDER

The objective of the project is to support UNDP’s BIOFIN programme in implementing the finance solution FS 8 ‘Designing and Developing Proactive Insurance Solutions aimed at reducing the risks faced by the local communities and associated natural capital in India’. The project activities include mitigation activities for human wildlife conflict, enhancing resilience of communities by capacity development and strengthening livelihood activities and designing financial mechanism for supporting biodiversity conservation.

The agency will be responsible for engaging with at least 20 villages in Nainital and Pauri Districts of in the proximity and buffer zone of Corbett Tiger Reserve in the state of Uttarakhand.
