In Burundi, UNICEF has a very varied portfolio of responsibilities, but all with the same objective that is to support the government and other stakeholders to achieve economic, social, cultural, political and civilian rights of children.The UNICEF country program in Burundi aims to improve the lives of children and women in the following key fields: infantile and maternal health, nutrition, education, protection of children, water, sanitation and hygiene, social policy and advocacy, self -employment and adolescent and resilience of communities and humanitarian response.

It is within this framework that the consultancy is part of technical support to the ministries involved in the management of health emergencies in the planning, collection, analysis and visualization of information from the community from the community in a “single health” approach

A university diploma in information technology, demography, statistics, social sciences or any other related field.
At least 6 years of professional experience in information management and the animation of community feedback mechanisms in support of humanitarian actions or health emergencies
A mastery of data management tools: Advanced Excel, Kobotoolbox, ODK, Power Bi or equivalent;Experience with specialized software such as ArcGIS, Mapinfo, SPSS, Epiinfo6, HTML, PHP, ASP, Java, MS Access, SQL, Progress; Solid skills in communication and writing; Sensitivity to protection, inclusion and liable; humanitarian or community experience desired
Knowledge of the United Nations system and the humanitarian community; proven skills for the analysis of statistical information; advanced skills in Excel (for example, dynamic cross paintings, functions, etc.);Experience in the development of training modules and the animation of training; aptitude to formulate technical requirements and operating procedures related to information management; aptitude to translate planning specifications into technical briefs for data entry and analysis, and vice versa; ability to compile and analyze in a holistic way various data.data collection methodologies.
Excellent skills in written and oral presentation.
