Required Qualifications
Education:
- Master’s degree in psychology, Educational Psychology, or other relevant social sciences with 2 years of relevant professional experience in the humanitarian or development sector field or;
- Bachelor’s degree in the above-mentioned fields with 4 years of work experience in the field.
Experience and Skills:
- Experience in capacity building of local NGOs and psychosocial programmes.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills and the ability to engage governmental and non-governmental actors.
- Experience in conducting community engagement activities such as awareness raising sessions and community needs assessment.
- Experience in communicating and working with a wide range of people including people of culturally diverse backgrounds.
- Experience in managing and chairing coordination working groups/cluster meetings is a strong asset.
- Previous experience in monitoring and evaluation of psychosocial programme activities.
Languages:
- Fluency in English and Arabic is required.
- Working knowledge of Kurdish is an advantage.
