INTPA R6 is the Finance and Contracts Unit for the Directorates D, E, F, G and R as well as Units 01
& 02. It supports the work of 26 Units which centrally manage programmes financed through
diverse instruments, including the thematic pillar of the Neighbourhood, Development and
International Cooperation Instrument – Global Europe (Global Europe) and the European Instrument
for International Nuclear Safety Cooperation (INSC).

WE PROPOSE

We propose a position of Finance and Contracts Assistant within the sector in charge of financing
decisions. Under the supervision of the Head of Sector, the job holder will verify the contractual and
financial aspects of the proposed financing decisions and corresponding action documents for
centralised operations (Annual Action Plans) and process modifications to the existing adopted
financing decisions.

WE LOOK FOR

We are looking for a dynamic candidate with experience in financial and contractual management
international
and/or budgetary management. Programme management experience
cooperation context is also relevant to this job. Knowledge of tools such as OPSYS / SUMMA is an
asset.

The person we are looking for should be able to work autonomously, have strong verbal and oral
communication skills and be able to work closely with other colleagues in the unit. The ideal
candidate should be pro-active, have excellent organisational skills, and be able to work under tight
pressure and within short deadlines. A good command of both English and French is also required.
