Qualifications & Preferred Skills

  • Education:  Education: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Social Work, Economics, Business Administration, Education, Community Development, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience in social and/or economic empowerment.
  • Years of experience: 1-3 years of work experience in relevant fields, preferably within INGOs sector with experience in training and/or teaching adults.
  • Must be knowledgeable of business practices in the local area.
  • Provide technical guidance to clients on starting and maintaining a small business.
  • Must be attuned to the situation and needs of the women in the program so as to give proper advice.
  • Good administrative and organizational skills.
  • Good communication skills and ability to build rapport with communities and participants.
  • Good inter-personal skills and ability to work in a team.
  • Basic computer skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Email.
  • Arabic is essential, English language skills an advantage.
  • Commitment to and respect for Women for Women International’s mission and values.

 

Physical Demands:

 The role requires working on a laptop or standing for extended periods during session delivery.
