Data Collector- Daily

Qualifications:

• Education: A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. A degree in social sciences, statistics, or related fields is a plus.
• Experience: Previous experience in data collection or fieldwork in humanitarian or development settings is preferred.
• Skills:
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately record data.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats.
  • Proficiency in using mobile data collection tools (e.g., Kobo Toolbox,) or Microsoft Excel.
  • Basic understanding of ethical data collection and confidentiality standards.

• Communication Skills: Able to effectively interact with people from diverse backgrounds, including beneficiaries and community leaders.
• Problem Solving: Ability to handle challenges during data collection and find practical solutions.
• Cultural Sensitivity: Understanding and respecting local cultures, norms, and traditions.
• Flexibility: Ability to work in challenging conditions, including remote or difficult locations.

Languages:

• Fluency in Arabic language, English being an advantage.

Physical Demands:

• In certain cases, the position may require extended hours and travel to remote areas and settlements including walking long distances or working in challenging environmental conditions.
