Qualifications & Preferred Skills
Required education, experience, certificates, licenses or registrations
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum two (2) years of work experience in data entry or data management
- Experience with digital / electronic data collection and database management
- Experience in providing training or technical support to partners or colleagues
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Fluency in written and spoken Arabic and English
- This position is open to female candidates only, as it requires close collaboration with and access to female clients and beneficiaries.
Preferred education, experience, certificates, licenses or registrations
- Bachelor’s degree in social science, statistics, computer science or a relevant discipline
- Any professional certificates related to data management or M&E
- Experience with online surveys, such as Alchemer, Survey Monkey, Qualtrics, etc.
- Fluency in written and spoken Kurdish and/or Shabaki language
Competencies (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)
- Excellent numeracy skills, including comfort with a range of basic arithmetic calculations
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Excellent writing and editing skills. Ability to organize and prioritize workload.
- Ability to cope with stress, including working under pressure to meet deadlines
- Ability to take initiative and adapt to changing circumstances and priorities
- Commitment to and understanding of CVT’s vision, mission, values, and principles
- Interest in and commitment to human rights
- Ability to work as part of a team, including ability to manage interpersonal conflicts
- Ability to work independently, accomplishing tasks as designated in work plan
- Cross cultural awareness and sensitivity to cultural differences
- Flexibility and adaptability to travel to unpredictable, isolated environment, lacking in amenities.
