1. Strong agricultural marketing skills, with a demonstrated ability to connect farmers to markets and improve product competitiveness.
2. Experience supporting or coaching entrepreneurs, farmers, or small business owners in developing market-oriented strategies.
3. Strong understanding of value chains, including buyer expectations, quality standards, and logistics.
4. Must have strong working knowledge of Kurdish markets, systems, and regulations.
5. Must be willing to drive long distances to assess markets in other regions.
6. Good analytical, research, and report writing abilities. 
7. Concern for others and respect for people of all ethnicities, religions, genders, and backgrounds.
8. Attention to detail, anticipation, and follow up are core values of the job function. 
9. Strong communication and inter-personal skills; able to manage multiple tasks at once.
10. Possesses strong organizational and problem solving skills within a fast-paced environment.
11. Must be a self-starter and internally driven to success and hard work.
12. Must be a humble team player. 
13. Ability to be flexible and adaptable, taking on additional responsibilities as needed.

Education / Experience Needed

• Bachelors degree in Business, Finance or related field 
• Agricultural experience and previous work with NGOs preferred
• Demonstrated success in building market linkages and supporting rural entrepreneurship.

LANGUAGE

• Fluency in Kurdish and Arabic required.
• Proficiency in English is a plus.
