Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Development Studies, Social Sciences, or a related field. Professional certification (e.g., PMD Pro) is highly desirable.
- Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience within the NGO, humanitarian, or development sectors, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or management capacity.
- Context: Proven track record in field-level project implementation and coordination. Deep familiarity with communities in Basra or Southern Iraq is strongly preferred.
- Compliance: Working knowledge of major donor regulations (UN, USAID, ECHO, etc.) is a distinct asset.
Core Competencies:
- Leadership: Strong team management, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Operations: Ability to produce high-quality, clear project reports and maintain meticulous documentation.
- Problem Solving: Excellent conflict-resolution and adaptive problem-solving capabilities in field environments.
