Qualifications:
Education, Knowledge and Experience
- 1-3 years’ experience in logistics, procurement and finance working with NGOs/INGOs;
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or a related field;
- Demonstrated relevant experience working in complex security environments.
Technical skills
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite essential;
- Strong English language abilities (both verbal and written) are preferred;
- Ability to conduct technical assessments as required.
Management Support
- Ability to structure workplans;
- Ability to manage conflict and maximize human resources.
Independent judgement and organizational
- Excellent organization and administrative skills;
- A proactive and positive problem-solving approach and able to take initiative
- Flexibility and adaptability.
- Deep commitment to nonviolent community led initiatives
Interpersonal
- Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment, with different cultural norms;
- Ability to communicate effectively;
- Excellent relationship-building skills.
Commitment to NP values
- Understanding of NP’s non-partisan approach to working in Iraq;
- Understanding of the importance of confidentiality;
- Understanding of the importance of representing NP, both during and outside of scheduled work hours.
Other Requirements
- This position is open to nationals of Iraq only;
- Local relationships and knowledge of the field location are required;
- Willingness to support field staff as required.
