Required Qualifications and Experience
1-A bachelor’s or master’s degree in educational psychology, psychological and educational counseling, or art therapy.
2-An accredited certificate or advanced, documented training in the field of analyzing children’s and adolescents’ drawings and using art as a diagnostic tool.
Technical skills
1- The ability to teach teachers how to read shapes, colors, dimensions, and drawing spaces, and to distinguish between spontaneous expression and indicators of a crisis (such as violence, trauma, or neglect).
2- The skill of training teachers not to make final judgments, and to clarify the limits of their role.
3- Ability to design user-friendly evaluation and monitoring forms for teachers, to collect data needed to support subsequent activities and design targeted interventions.
4- The skill of building a linguistic and intellectual bridge between the language of art teachers and the language of psychology mentors.
