Qualifications & Preferred Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Social Sciences, Education, Business Administration, Monitoring and Evaluation, Development Studies, vocational education/training, or another relevant field is preferred.
- At least one year of relevant experience in field monitoring, data collection, vocational training, livelihoods, youth employment, education, or humanitarian/development projects is preferred.
- Ability to conduct structured interviews, observations, and basic document reviews and record clear, objective evidence.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills and ability to engage respectfully with trainees, employers, trainers, VTC staff, and project personnel.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, neutrality, professional boundaries, and sensitivity when discussing safeguarding or workplace concerns.
- Good written and spoken Arabic and/or Kurdish appropriate to the assigned location; working knowledge of English is an advantage.
- Ability and willingness to travel regularly within the assigned governorate and independently manage the agreed visit schedule.
- Basic ability to use digital data-collection/reporting tools, email, and common office applications is an advantage.
