Community improvement is the core purpose of WCC’s work. We will build a community ethos based on open collaboration and team work. WCC will improve the quality of life of young people by improving health and sanitation facilities, and providing various educational opportunities to advance their economic prospects.

Context

The World Changing Centre (WCC) is a charity organization based in the US under category 501c (3) and in the UK under registration number 1136070. WCC’s work focuses on education, healthcare and sanitation in Sierra Leone and UK (Autism training). Our projects are geared towards meeting the urgent needs of education including special needs and healthcare. There is a tremendous need for education attainment in Sierra Leone because children are not assessed properly in school. Most professionals, organisations and government departments don”t understand the importance of educating children and young people. WCC”s objective is to Identify , raise awareness(training) and acceptance at the same time to support children and young people within the communities. The core functions of editing/proofreading WCC website/App and fundraising proposal is to promote, sell ,information management and financing WCC projects by fundraising so we can build a school/skill center and healthcare centre.

Key Responsibilities

For proofreading/editing book on Autism and speech delay. We require 25 Online Volunteers who have a command over the English language and research. The ability to write and narrate book script. There is no formal qualification required; however, experience in Autism research skills/experience will be highly desirable. Strong interpersonal skills are encouraged, as you will be working with Online Volunteers across different countries. Innovative skills are required to proofread/edit website and fundraising proposal for WCC Academy primary school in Sierra Leone.

Required Skills and Experience

There is no formal qualification required; however, experience in Autism and speech delay skills/experience will be highly desirable. Strong interpersonal skills are encouraged, as you will be working with Online Volunteers across different countries. Innovative skills are required to make the book more marketable.
