Introduction

UNDP ITM has the objective of sourcing Solar Systems for FAO Ghana Country Office, the FAO Regional Office for Africa (RAF) in Ghana, and the FAO Maiduguri Sub-Office in Nigeria. The Invitation to Bid is designed with two lots– one for the two sites in Ghana and one for the site in Maiduguri, Nigeria- and will be awarded separately, so suppliers can quote for one complete lot or both lots. UNDP reserves the right to not award one or more lots. 
Please note that the Pre-Bid Site Visit is mandatory for bid eligibility.
Confirmation for the participation in the Pre-Bid Site visit is required. To attend you will need to register participation of your representative by 26.05.2025 via the messaging function on Quantum. Without registration to the Pre-Bid Site Visit confirmed on Quantum, the vendors will not be allowed in the Site Visit.
Important deadlines:

  • Confirmation of participation in the Pre-Bid Site Visit: 26 May 2025 (by COB CET/CPH time)
  • Pre-bid Site Visits (mandatory for all three sites): 
    • Lot 1A – FAO Ghana Country Office – May 28th at 10AM Ghana time 
    • Lot 1B – FAO Ghana Regional Office for Africa – May 28th at 2PM Ghana time 
    • Lot 2 – FAO Nigeria Maiduguri – May 29th at 10AM Nigeria time
  • Bidders’ Conference (single Bidders conference for both lots): 4 June 2025 at 16:00 CET/CPH time
  • Request for Clarification deadline: 11 June 2025 (by COB CET/CPH time)
  • Offer Submission: 20 June 2024 (by COB CET/CPH time)
