The Brussels Study Center (BSC) is currently looking for a new Executive Assistant to join its team. This is a dynamic and versatile position that combines administrative, communication, and project coordination tasks in a fast-paced academic environment focused on competition law and the impact of digital technologies. The position is based in Brussels and is to be filled as soon as possible, ideally by early September 2025.

About the role

As Executive Assistant, you will support the BSC Manager with her day-to-day responsibilities, with a particular focus on communication-related projects. You will also play a key role in the coordination of the LL.M. in Competition Law and Economics and the Executive Master in Law & AI.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist in the daily operations of the BSC;
  • Draft and edit documents and correspondence in English;
  • Coordinate and support the organisation of academic programmes and events;
  • Monitor and update the website and social media (especially LinkedIn);
  • Prepare reporting materials for lectures;
  • Encode and maintain customer data in the CRM system;
  • Support the development and optimisation of the BSC’s branding and communications;
  • Contribute to general administrative tasks.

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree;
  • Strong interest in project management and communication;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of French and/or Dutch is an asset;
  • Organised, creative, flexible, and sociable;
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset;
  • Familiar with LinkedIn; knowledge of Mailchimp is an asset;
  • Good command of Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
