Qualifications & Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of climate change education tools, games, or interactive learning methods is considered an advantage.
  • Understanding of climate-resilient practices, environmental protection, and green initiatives relevant to communities and schools.
  • Familiarity with climate change impacts at local, national, and global levels.
  • Advanced proficiency in Arabic and Kurdish is required to ensure effective communication with project audiences.
  • Intermediate proficiency in English is an asset for future career development and planning (is an asset)
  • Previous experience working with NGOs or relevant organizations, with a solid understanding of international working standards and practices.
  • Strong facilitation and training skills, including the ability to prepare training materials and related tools, and to effectively engage diverse audiences.
  • Effective presentation and public speaking skills.
  • Familiarity with designing, organizing, and facilitating webinars and online information sessions.
  • Ability to prepare, manage, and maintain documentation and reports accurately.
  • Strong personal attributes, including good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt content and delivery methods based on participants’ backgrounds and knowledge levels.
  • Basic computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Office and online meeting platforms.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
