Employee Contract Type:

Local – Fixed Term Employee (Fixed Term)

Job Description:

The Community Development Facilitator (CDF) plays a crucial role in supporting communities throughout the implementation of activities that require the presence of World Vision. This includes ensuring that individuals, households, and target communities enhance their social resilience and cohesion in response to the impacts of climate change and other challenges.

This position is based in the Central Islands Province Area Program (CIP) and requires spending approximately 75% of the time engaging directly with communities. While the primary responsibilities are outlined in the job description, the CDF may occasionally undertake additional tasks as needed. In alignment with the Biblical principle of “going the extra mile,” the role may sometimes involve contributing extra time to community initiatives without additional compensation.

The CDF will actively contribute to the design and implementation of inclusive activities, fostering the participation of individuals with disabilities and other vulnerable groups. This approach ensures meaningful engagement and aligns with the broader objectives and outcomes of the project
