Scope of the study
An international or domestic firm will be recruited to carry out a thorough review of the relevant studies undertaken on South Sudan to date, including the institutional and legal framework, to inform the premise and direction of the proposed study, while adding value to past diagnostic studies with long-term projections of up to 10 years, for researchable variables. The study will be undertaken in four main phases, each of which will include complementary activities that will generate specific deliverables: i) preparatory; ii) interim; iii) field work; and iv) report writing. The methodology to be used in conducting the study will combine a wide range of methods (e.g., quantitative, qualitative via surveys, participatory), tools like EVIEWS, STATA, etc. for long term data trends analysis and information sources to strengthen confidence by interviewees and ensure impartiality in the study findings and recommendations.
