Qualifications & Skills

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Water resources, or a related engineering discipline.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in construction, rehabilitation, or maintenance of public buildings, preferably schools.
• Proven experience working with NGOs and/or international organizations.
• Strong experience in planning, design review, site supervision, and technical reporting.
• Experience working with government authorities and contractors is an advantage.

  Work Conditions

  The position is based in Thi-Qar Governorate with regular travel to school project sites. The Engineer Consultant will work closely with IRW project staff, contractors, school administrations, and relevant government departments throughout the assignment.

   

  Fluency in Arabic required.
