Main purpose of job:
The British Embassy Seoul is a large diplomatic mission of approximately 100 staff delivering a dynamic and rapidly expanding programme of activity in support of the UK’s objectives. IT Support Officer will be working within a busy Corporate Services team and working alongside a Senior IT Support Officer on the full range of IT support to all staff across the Embassy. IT Support Officer will be responsible for maintaining smooth IT operation of the Embassy including managing standard end-user devices, peripheral, smartphones, the standalone IT infrastructure, VOIP telephones, and other communication technologies, in compliance with FCDO standards, performing regular maintenance and repairs, enhancing staff IT skills to maximise the effective use of technology for improved business outcomes. We are looking for an IT support professional, a self-starter and team player who is meticulous, service-minded and have great communication skills to join a dynamic team.

This role is for a 12-month fixed term contract with possibility of renewal.
