Field Project Assistant (Finance/Logistics/HR) – National Position

QUALIFICATIONS

Education, Knowledge and Experience

• 1-2 years’ experience in logistics, procurement or finance working with NGOs/INGOs;
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or a related field;
• Demonstrated relevant experience working in complex security environments.

Technical skills

• Proficiency with the Microsoft Word and Excel;
• Strong English language abilities (both verbal and written) are preferred;
• Ability to conduct technical assessments as required.

Management Support

• Ability to structure workplans;
• Ability to manage conflict and maximize human resources.

Independent judgement and organizational

• Excellent organization and administrative skills;
• A proactive and positive problem-solving approach and able to take initiative
• Flexibility and adaptability.
• Deep commitment to nonviolent community led initiatives.

Interpersonal

• Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment, with different cultural norms;
• Ability to communicate effectively;
• Excellent relationship-building skills.

Commitment to NP values

• Understanding of NP’s non-partisan approach to working in Iraq;
• Understanding of the importance of confidentiality;
• Understanding of the importance of representing NP, both during and outside of scheduled work hours.

Other Requirements

• Local relationships and knowledge of the field location are required;
• Willingness to support field staff as required
