Local Field Civil Engineer – Detailed Technical Assessment, Technical Documentation, Daily Site Supervision for Housing Rehabilitation and Community Infrastructure Interventions.

STANDARD MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.

Experiences:

• Minimum of 5 years of proven relevant professional engineering experience in construction and rehabilitation projects.
• Proven experience in Housing rehabilitation and building assessment.
• Proven experience in the preparation of BOQs and cost estimates.
• Proven experience in construction supervision.
• Post-conflict recovery projects.
• Experience with UN agencies or international organizations.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Excel, and quantity surveying.
• Ability to prepare professional technical reports.
• Familiarity with Iraqi construction standards and local market conditions.

Language:

• Fluent Arabic is essential
• Good working knowledge of written English, including the ability to prepare technical reports and communicate in writing, is required.
