Part-Time Operations Manager (Head of Operations) – Erbil

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, HR, or related field (Master’s preferred)
• Minimum 10 years of experience in operations, finance, and/or HR within NGOs or international organizations
• Strong professional knowledge in financial management, with proven experience in NGO financial systems, budgeting, donor compliance, and financial reporting
• Demonstrated experience in managing grant-based funding and donor requirements (UN agencies, international donors preferred).
• Proven experience managing multi-functional teams (Finance, HR, Operations)
• Strong understanding of donor compliance and reporting requirements
• Experience with financial systems (e.g., QuickBooks or similar)
• Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills
• Excellent coordination and communication skills
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail
• Fluency in English and Arabic

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with donor-funded projects and familiarity with donor requirements.
• Strong project management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a finance team.
• Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
• Familiarity with financial management software and ODOO/ERP systems.
