Qualifications & Preferred Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; experience in Iraq is considered an asset.
- Master’s degree relevant for development work, preferably related to gender studies, human rights, international development, law, social work, social sciences or other relevant areas.
- Experience in international development or humanitarian settings working with survivors of violence. Experience on human rights, child protection, and gender will be considered an asset.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and cross-cultural abilities.
- Strong ability to work independently, including the ability to multitask, prioritize competing tasks, and manage time effectively.
- Strong ability to draft donor reports.
- Ability to work in a stressful setting and adapt quickly to changing environments.
- Well-organized, self-motivated, and ability to work in a team.
- Fluent in English (native speaker preferred); Arabic and Kurdish language skills are an asset.
- Willingness to live in KRI.
