Qualifications & Preferred Skills
Required Qualifications:
- Prior senior management experience, preferably in an international NGO with development focus.
- At least 7 years of experience in a similar position.
- Proven expertise in the development of new business, including writing concept notes, developing proposals, networking and contract negotiations
- Experience of managing local partners and providing support particularly with reference to capacity building.
- Extensive knowledge in the local context.
- Solid experience in program cycle management, including strategic planning, budgeting, reporting, monitoring & evaluation
Skills and Knowledge:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent language skill in Kurdish, Arabic and English are required.
- Prior Knowledge and understanding of relevant institutional donors
- Strong representation, communication and negotiation skills
