Responsibilities

  • Assist in the implementation of cash-based interventions and rental assistance projects, ensuring timely and effective delivery of assistance.
  • Identify and register vulnerable families based on pre-established criteria to ensure targeted support.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of beneficiary registration, cash disbursements, and project activities.
  • Contribute to the preparation of reports, providing necessary data and insights.
  • Conduct field activities, including cash distribution and monitoring of rental assistance, ensuring compliance with organizational procedures.
  • Engage with beneficiaries to provide clear information and address any concerns.
  • Participate in monitoring and evaluation processes to assess project effectiveness and suggest improvements.
  • Assist in processing payments, managing records, and ensuring compliance with donor and organizational standards.
  • Quickly assimilate and execute tasks with minimal supervision, contributing to the timely achievement of project objectives.

Education:

A secondary school diploma or equivalent is required.

Work Experience:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in supporting the implementation of humanitarian programs, including cash transfers, rental assistance, or similar activities.
  • Experience in beneficiary registration, documentation management, and direct interaction with beneficiaries in a field setting.
  • Experience in working with vulnerable populations in crisis situations is an asset.
  • Previous experience with IOM or similar humanitarian organizations is preferred.
