Required Qualifications

 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in political or social sciences, International Relations, Development Studies, Migration Studies, Human Rights, Law or related from an accredited academic university or institution with two years of relevant professional experience, or
  • Completed high school degree with four years of relevant professional experience.

Experience and Skills:

  • Ability to work well with colleagues from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds.
  • Demonstrated commitment, efficiency, flexibility, and supportive approach to achieve results.
  • Good computer skills including experience with relational database and Microsoft applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work effectively in high-pressure, and rapidly changing environments.
  • Experience in coordination with emergency response actors and working with coordination structures.
  • Experience assisting in the flow levels of information between internal units, cluster partners, IOM, and other emergency response actors.

 

Languages:

  • Fluency in English, Kurdish and Arabic.
  • Working knowledge of any other language is an advantage.
