Qualifications & Preferred Skills
· Bachelor’s degree in International Development, Business Administration, Economics, Social Sciences, Project Management, or related field. Master’s degree is an asset.
· Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible experience managing humanitarian or development projects, preferably in:
o Livelihoods
o Economic recovery
o Youth employment
o TVET
o MSME development
o Resilience programming
· Proven experience managing donor-funded projects and preparing donor reports.
· Strong understanding of livelihoods programming, TVET systems, private sector engagement, MSME support, and market systems approaches.
· Demonstrated experience coordinating with government institutions, Chambers of Commerce, TVET centers, NGOs, and private sector actors within the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
· Strong professional relationships and networking capacity with relevant institutions and stakeholders is highly desirable.
· Experience supervising project teams and field staff.
· Excellent project planning, monitoring, reporting, organizational, and communication skills.
· Ability to independently manage operational challenges and make timely implementation decisions under pressure.
· Excellent English drafting, reporting, and communication skills are mandatory.
· Arabic and/or Kurdish language skills are highly desirable.
· Experience working with Oxfam, UN agencies, NRC, DRC, Mercy Corps, GIZ, or similar international organizations is considered an advantage.
