Introduction
UNDP, in partnership with the African Union, the African Women Leaders Network (AWLN) and the African School of Governance (ASG), is organizing the official launch of the African Academy for Women in Political Leadership (the “Academy”). The launch will bring together senior dignitaries, government officials, development partners and civil society representatives, and requires a five-star hotel venue in Kigali, Rwanda, able to provide conference facilities, accommodation and event catering to the standard expected for high-level participants.

3. Pre-Bidding Meeting
A pre-bidding meeting with all invited vendors will be held physically at the UNDP premises (Procurement office) on 17 July 2026 at 13h00. Attendance is strongly encouraged to enable prospective bidders to seek clarification on these specifications, raise questions regarding the requirements, and confirm venue/site details prior to submission of proposals.
4. Scope of Services
The successful bidder shall provide the following, as detailed in Sections 5–7 below:
• Conference/meeting venue and full conference package (plenary hall and two breakout rooms), including meals, refreshments and audio-visual/technical support;
• Accommodation for participants for the duration of the event; and
