Commissionaires services over 200 sites and are located in over 110 communities across the province. Our client base runs from the federal government to local municipalities, airports, industrial sectors, and commercial/residential buildings.
Based in our Vancouver office, and reporting to the Manager, Recruitment the Recruitment Specialist will play a pivotal role within our operations team ensuring that we have the right staff in place to service our client contracts in both the Lower Mainland and Interior BC.

Executes full cycle recruitment (postings, screening, interviewing, reference checking, offer letters, on boarding etc) for a designated portfolio of business across the Lower Mainland and Interior BC
Submit candidate criminal checks and government of Canada security clearance processing
Creates, revises and posts jobs internally and externally (community newspapers, websites, etc) plus any other advertising for BC Guards
Represents Commissionaires at local recruitment campaigns, career fairs, etc.
Identifies and develops ways to improve candidate pool
Maintains appropriate pipelines for long term sites
Manages candidates throughout various clearance application stages
Work with Client Services Managers during recruitment meetings to maintain staffing levels at sites
Using and maintaining the ATS system (JazzHR)
Cross departmental collaboration for continuous improvement
Perform all other duties as assigned
Education & Knowledge
Education: post-secondary degree or diploma desired.
Experience: 1-3 years of relevant experience within a high volume recruitment environment.

Previous experience using an ATS system (JazzHR preferred but not essential)
