Required Qualifications and Experience
Academic Background: University degree in the humanities (psychology, sociology, education) or a related field.
Practical Experience:
1. At least 3-5 years of experience in training on issues related to preventing violent extremism (PVE) or social cohesion.
2. In-depth knowledge of the local context in Anbar Governorate and issues concerning internally displaced persons (IDPs) and returnees from displacement camps.
3. Previous experience working with government institutions (Ministry of Education, Community Police).
Technical Skills:
1. Strong ability to simplify complex psychological and social concepts for administrative and educational staff.
2. Proficiency in facilitating interactive workshops and using adult training methods.
3. Excellent communication skills for working in multi-stakeholder environments (educational, security, community).
Expected Outcomes:
1. Developing the capacity of 16 schools in the early detection of indicators of violent extremism.
2. An action plan for each school to promote social cohesion and address school dropout issues.
3. A detailed technical report on the performance of the trainees and their readiness to deal with cases of violence or extremism.
