Judée *******

I find myself engaged by issues of peace and diplomacy, and seek a professional home which will open pathways for me to also contribute to public diplomacy by leveraging negotiation, training, public speaking and cultural activities to address global policy issues. My career has spanned public administration organizations and this has made me aware of the correlation between public and cultural diplomacy, stakeholder engagement, education, media promotion and ultimate peace and prosperity outcomes.
At the Government of Canada, I have been exposed to promulgating, communicating and negotiating key policy decisions with internal and external stakeholders to address positions on social programs, legal and regulatory requirements, international standards, trade and public diplomacy.
Working for the UN will also require the ability and desire to speak to powerful international business and political leaders, while being attentive to the needs of those most at risk when policies fail. This aspect of your outreach will come easily to me. At Health Canada, and before,I have worked with C-Suite executives, board members and influential leaders. I continue to develop my passion for public diplomacy as Master of Ceremonies for Canada’s Ambassador of the Year Awards (https://www.hilltimes.com/2020/03/18/envoys-select-top-12-ambassadors-of-the-year-at-third-annual-bash/239510),organize cultural events and contribute to press articles : https://diplomatmagazine.eu/2021/08/24/une-exposition-diplomatique-assez-particuliere-jimani-et-sa-frontiere-profonde/.
Beyond the specifics of the leadership,I am a world citizen. Problem-solving at the global level requires superb negotiation and implementation skills and I am confident that I can contribute real skill and focus to your interactions with worldwide organizations. My references can and will attest to my tenacity, focus and sincere desire to serve the world community via advocacy.

Kind Regards,
Judée Berthil
