REF059 Child Protection and Education Officer

Required Qualifications & Preferred Skills

• Holds a minimum Bachelor’s degree in Management, Social Work, Psychology, Pedagogy, International Relations, Community Development, or another related field with a focus on children and/or youth.
• At least three years of experience in Child Protection, particularly in Psychosocial Support (PSS), Case Management, and Non-formal Education.
• Proven experience in team management and supervision, including supervision of Child Protection Case Management.
• Experience in community mobilization and conducting outreach activities.
• Strong knowledge of Psychosocial First Aid (PFA), Gender-Based Violence (GBV), and related child protection topics.
• Solid understanding of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Child Protection Case Management and other official guidelines and tools.
• Good knowledge of Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) and safeguarding policies.
• Strong capacity to promote children’s active participation and stimulate creativity.
• Excellent communication and social skills for building relationships with diverse communities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Fluency in written and spoken Arabic (mandatory), with good communication skills in English (preferred).
• Strong organizational and reporting abilities.
• Highly creative, active, positive, and flexible.
• Deeply motivated by humanitarian work.
• Experienced in working through partnerships.
• Proactive and reliable, with integrity, initiative, and the ability to think and work independently.
• Able to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, handle pressure, adapt quickly, and collaborate effectively as a team player.
• Demonstrates creative thinking, a problem-solving mindset, and accountability for delivering results.
• Shows strong initiative and drive to achieve objectives, with the ability to contribute to the development of effective organizations
